Devil’s Slide State Forest
The trucks ambled slowly across the logging trail in a solemn column. Four deuce-and-a-half’s, canvas-topped and strapped against the wind, made their way through the quiet forest. A small group of Jeeps led the head and followed the tail of the solemn contingent. The first truck stopped at Devil’s Slide and its contents were tossed over the edge. The truck pulled aside as the remainders plodded on. The next truck stopped, and the remains were tossed into a gully. Two trucks continued North until the next clearing was reached. The first spilled half the remains into a ravine. The SS zombies, however, were tossed into a pulp shredder, fertilizing the forest floor. Their souls immortalized in the towering spruce and fir as the remaining truck rolled off into the forest.
